Paige M. Hamilton, OTD, OTR/L

Paige Hamilton had the dream to become an occupational therapist at just 8 years old when she witnessed her great grandmother suffer multiple strokes and need occupational therapists to help her regain lost skills. As Paige moved into her teenage years,  her passion for occupational therapy continued with a shift toward pediatrics as she had discovered a heart for children.  In becoming a pediatric OT she realized she could combine her love of helping others and working with children into one dream job. In 2021, she received her bachelor’s degree in psychology and in 2023 graduated with a degree in occupational therapy from Shenandoah University.

Paige is a native of the area. She completed her graduate level fieldwork placement at Authentic Health and joined the practice after graduating. In addition to her skills in the clinic, she hopes to increase the offerings Authentic Health provides the community including more local seminars, outreaches to schools, and development of online resources. When she is not at the office she is taking her puppy, Gunner, for walks, enjoying time with her long-time partner, Dalton, and supporting her younger siblings in all of their adventures!

When you come to the clinic, be sure to be on the lookout for Mr. Gunner as

he often relaxes and plays in her office throughout the day. He loves to wag his tail, give kisses, and make friends with everyone he sees.
