Christie Pride and Jeanne Allen met in a local church. They spent time in bible study and prayer together and in the Spring of 2018, were discussing the new kinesiology skills Christie had been learning and using with friends. At that time, Christie had been seeing people in her home for craniosacral therapy for many years, while also working as a pediatric OT locally. They discussed starting a business to help more people receive the benefits of not only the OT, but also the kinesiology and craniosacral therapy.
They joined forces to open Authentic Health LLC in September 2018. This alternative health organization has been serving Fauquier County and surrounding regions for several years now.
Christie brought her 30+ years experience as a pediatric Occupational Therapist, Craniosacral therapist and more recently, Specialized Kinesiology practitioner. Jeanne brought years of business experience in creating start-ups, including a few of her own.
In late summer of 2018, Christie met Natalia Schroeder (pictured), a Ph.D Nutrition Counselor who had wanted to open a practice in Warrenton, as she lived locally. It was a destined match and fit the ideals of Authentic Health perfectly. She joined the organization just before the doors opened in September 2018 and remained with the organization until 2022.
