Christie Pride and Jeanne Allen are friends who met at their local church and spent time in bible study and prayer together. In the Spring of 2018, they were discussing the new skills Christie had been learning and using in kinesiology. Christie had been seeing people in her home for craniosacral therapy and working for a pediatric OT practice. They discussed starting a business to help more people receive these benefits, and decided to join forces to open Authentic Health LLC, an alternative health organization serving Fauquier County and surrounding regions.
Christie brought her 30+ years experience as a Pediatric Occupational therapist, Craniosacral therapist and more recently, Specialized Kinesiology practitioner. Jeanne brought years of business experience in creating start-ups, including her own.
In late summer, Christie met Natalia Schroeder, a Ph.D Nutrition Counselor who had wanted to open a practice in Warrenton, as she lived locally. It was a destined match and fit the ideals of Authentic Health perfectly. She joined the organization just before the doors opened in September 2018.
